ZEKE | Thrash-Punk-Rock'n'Roll von den "Godfathers of Speedrock" aus Seattle

Ihre erste Single trug den Titel "West Seattle Acid Party" und erschien 1993, kurz nachdem die Band in eben jener Stadt zusammengefunden hatte – und machte deutlich, dass diese Typen trotz Zeitpunkt und Ort der Gründung nix zu tun haben wollten mit dem dort damals üblichen weinerlichen Post-Grunge-Sound. Vielmehr setzten die motorsportverrückten Brachial-Rocker auf turbogeladenen Hochgeschwindigkeits-Punk-Rock'n'Roll und wurden als die "Godfathers of Speedrock" abgefeiert.

Doch zu Beginn des neuen Jahrtausends verschwand die Band von der Bildfläche... um dann 2017 fulminant zurückzukehren! Aggressiver als heutzutage haben sie eigentlich noch nie geklungen, und ihr hyperschneller Thrash-Punk mit Hardcore- und Metal-Edge ist auch ein paar hunderttausend Kilometer später frei von jeglichen Verschleißerscheinungen. Gnadenlose Riffs, explosive Drums und giftige Vocals verdichten sich bei ihnen zu Tracks, die verbrannte Erde hinterlassen und gleichermaßen von MOTÖRHEAD als auch BLACK FLAG und den RAMONES inspiriert sind.

Support: WARSAW | Metal, Hardcore und Punk ergeben beim süddeutschen Vierer "Chaos Thrash"

Die 2006 im beschaulichen Schwäbisch Hall gegründete Band kreiert eine Mischung aus Metal, Hardcore und Punk, die sie selbst als "Chaos Thrash" bezeichnen.
